At Sea / Venice, Italy
Well, this is our last day on our cruise. It is a sea day which is perfect; just what
we need after so many days of touring.
We sleep in; eat breakfast, relax in the sun, get everything organized
for the final packing; and then head for our last dinner in the Botticelli
Dining Room.
After dinner, we hurry up to the Lido deck to watch as we
approach Venice
at night. What a beautiful sight of the
canals all lit up; there are many people out watching us as we’re watching
them. What a sight to see this huge
cruise ship come into port. It takes us
an hour to reach our berth as we cruise on the Canole di San Nicolo, the Canole
di Sand Marco, and the Canole Della Giudecco (these are the main shipping canals).
We go to bed knowing it’s our last night on the ship.
